Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Guwahati – Tezpur (200 kms/4hour approximately)

Arrive Guwahati airport at 1145Hrs

Meet and assist service through our representative.

Drive to Tezpur -located on the banks of the river Brahmaputra with green hills and hillocks, parks and lakes. Check in Hotel. Day for leisure, Overnight stay at the hotel in Tezpur.

Day 02: Tezpur –Dirang (185kms/6.5hour approximately)

Breakfast at the Hotel

Drive towards Dirang -picturesque town, situated on the banks of Kameng River. Enroute visit Tipi Orchid Centre, Hot Water Spring. Check in Hotel. Evening free at Leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Dirang.

Day 03: Dirang - Tawang (155 kms/6hour approximately)

Breakfast at the Hotel

Morning drive to Tawang.Enroute witnessed the snowcapped Sella Pass at 14000 ft and the JaswantGarh War Memorial. (Legend has it that Jaswant (Mahavir Chakra Awardee (Posthumous) of 4th Battalion Garhwal Rifles), fought a lone battle against the invading Chinese during the 1962 war. His spirit is still believed to protect the place). Overnight stay at the hotel in Tawang.

Day 04: Tawang Sightseeing 

Breakfast at the Hotel,

Tawang – The beautiful land of the Monpa tribes with the “GOLDEN NAMGYAL LHATSE ” Monastery – one of the largest Lamaseries of Mahayana sect in Asia. The birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama, the Monastery is 400 year old  and is adorned with the 18 feet high statue of Lord Buddha. ‘The Land of Dawn-lit Mountains’ at 3500 mts gives you unparalleled purity of nature. Visit the monastery and the War Memorial. Evening free for shopping. Overnight stay at the hotel in Tawang.

Day 05: Tawang Sightseeing 

Breakfast at the Hotel

Full day trip to Madhuri lake (Shonga-tser Lake), the lake is famous for its crystal-clear blue waters & Bumla Pass- connects India and China(time to visit Bumla Pass is 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. closed on Saturday and Sunday.) subject to permission granted by DC office, Tawang. Overnight stay at the hotel in Tawang.

Day 06: Tawang –Bomdila (180 kms/6hour approximately)

Breakfast at the Hotel, Check out Hotel

Drive to Bomdila. Check in Hotel. Later visit Bomdila Monastery – established in the year 1965 and it represents the spiritual essence of Buddhism. Evening free at leisure.Overnight stay at the hotel in Bomdila.
