Starting point of excursion – hotel of stay. You will know more about history and development of the southern capital of Kazakhstan and see its main attractions such as: The Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Presidential Residence, the Republic Square and the Independence Monument, the Theater of Opera and Ballet named after Abai, Astana Square, Abai Square and the Palace of the Republic.

15:00 – 18:00 Amazing Kok Tobe by cable car

Kok-Tobe is the highest TV tower in the world, if you count from the sea level. A special viewing platform located on the mountain will allow you to admire the magnificent panorama of the city, as well as you can stroll along the winding paths of Kok-Tobe Park and visit souvenir shops. Our guide will tell the meaning of souvenirs and help to buy the best one.

11.00-11.10 Welcome greeting by two warriors wearing the armors designed in the style of Saka Period and the hostess greeting the guests with national ritual called Shashu.

11.30-12.00 Acquaintance with the construction of a Kazakh yurt and its sacral meaning for a nomad. Acquaintance with old time Kazakh housekeeping duties: whisking wool, spindle yarn making, hand flour grinding, baby lullabying in Besik (cradle), Tusau Kesu.

12.00-12.40 Sarbaz Nomad Group performance. National Horse Games: Jigitovka – horseback riding with acrobatic elements Atpen audaryspak (struggling and pushing a rival while horse riding) Kyz kuu game, Kara Zhorga (traditional Kazakh dance) Horseback riding.

13.00-14.00 National cuisine lunch (plov, fresh salad, tea, water). 14.00-14.30 National archery master class

14:30 Leave to Issyk Lake

15:30-16:30 Issyk is a picturesque mountain lake surrounded by beautiful nature. The lake is located at an altitude of 1760 meters above sea level, in the Issyk gorge of the Trans-Ili Alatau, approximately 70 km east of Almaty. Сome admire the turquoise waters of the lake and the beauty of the Issyk gorge!

07:00 – 21:30 Excursion to Charyn canyon and Kolsay Lake

At 7:00 am will leave city. And start our tour in the beautiful canyon Charyn. Is situated in the territory of the Charyn National Park which was laid out with the purpose to preserve natural and geological objects. The National Park was founded on 23 February 2004. The Park territory is inhabited with a great number of rare and endangered animal species entered in the Red Book. In Sarytogai natural boundary of the Park territory, there are protected forests are growing with one of the most unique trees – Sogdian ash existed as far back as the Palaeogene epoch. The aspen grove is unique, the second analogue grove is found in North America. The aspen grove, a monument of nature is especially protected under aegis of UNESCO. Its age is about 5 million years.

15:00-17:00 Kolsay lakes -are 3 lakes located 300 km from the city, at Kungey Alatau mountains. The lakes included to the list of the most beautiful natural places in Kazakhstan. The most popular and available lake – is first lake or Lower Lake, at a Hight of 1800 m above the sea level and has 2 km length and 800 m width.

Along the coast of the Kolsai Lake there are all kinds of guest houses, which always provide a warm welcome to everyone who wants to relax and admire the magnificent panorama of the cleanest lake from the windows of their rooms.

Transfer to the excursion at 09:30.

10:00-13:00 This tour provides you the best opportunity to see the beautiful mountain surroundings of Almaty city. The first stop of the tour awaits you in the Medeo Gorge, where in the wonderful mountains of Trans-Ili Ala-Tau the largest high mountain skating rink in the world is located as well as the huge dam, protecting the city from destructive mudflows formed on the tops of the western Tien Shan. Next destination is Shymbulak ski resort (Cable Car Fee Included), located at an altitude of 2230 meters above sea level. It is very popular for its mild climate, large quantity of sunny days and snow through the winter and remarkable scenery of mountain ranges.

Continue our Almaty city tour. So, the next locations that we will visit, where you will get acquainted with the old part of the city and see the Vernensky buildings of the 19th century as well: Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen, Ascension Cathedral, House of Officers, Museum of Folk Musical Instruments, Memorial of Glory.

And at our last destinations you will have a great opportunity to buy local sweets from Rakhat Chocolate Factory and dry fruits at cheap rates and some souvenirs from Green Bazaar.
